# Odile Direct agent storefront
Lookups, availability and booking cancellation stay free. Each agent identity gets 50 free tasks per UTC calendar month; then a delivered message costs 1 credit and a confirmed booking 5 credits. 1 credit = $0.10. Direct 100: 100 credits for $10; Direct 1,000: 1,000 credits for $90; Direct 10,000: 10,000 credits for $800. Credits never expire; nothing renews. Failed, refused and unconfirmed tasks cost nothing. Existing prepaid dollar balances keep their full cent value; 10 cents of balance equals 1 credit. Price quotes and paying a quoted price are not available. The opt-in voice pilot costs 2.5 credits per answered minute, billed by the second with a 20-second minimum. It reserves a funded 20–600-second cap before dialing; failed and unanswered calls cost zero. It needs account opt-in; free-only connections cannot start voice. A wallet can pay $1.00 in Base USDC per answered call to a business (POST /a2a/v1/x402/call) or per answered test call of its own phone agent, with scores (POST /a2a/v1/x402/test-call); unanswered and failed calls are never charged.

Save order_id and order_token privately, then give checkout_url to the human to approve payment on Stripe. Nothing renews. No card details reach Odile. Prices must be configured before checkout is available.
Poll GET /a2a/v1/store/orders/ORDER_ID with Authorization: Bearer ORDER_TOKEN. The signed payment webhook grants the prepaid balance once. A paid response returns api_key and balance_cents once; store the key immediately. Later polls return delivered; a lost key response cannot be replayed.
Use the key at GET /a2a/v1/usage to read UTC free sends, balance_cents, reserved_cents and charges. Cancel a confirmed booking free with cancel_booking, booking_id and its private cancel_token, plus optional reason up to 300 characters. Cancellation uses no monthly allowance and does not refund the delivered booking fee. Keep messageId unchanged on send retries. At zero available credit, paid sends return HTTP 402 payment_required with balance_cents, price_cents and buy_url before sending. Anonymous sends share an IP allowance; sign in or buy an account key to top up. Phone minutes and legacy Direct credits are separate.

Tell your human at each of these moments, in plain words, with the link or fact they need. Do not poll silently and do not wait without telling them.
1. Order created, payment needed: as soon as POST /a2a/v1/store/orders returns checkout_url, tell your human the pack, the price and the checkout link. Nothing is active until they pay on Stripe's page. Then poll the order.
2. Key issued: as soon as a poll returns api_key, store the key yourself first (it is returned once and cannot be replayed), then tell your human the key is ready and the starting balance.
3. Credits low or out: when GET /a2a/v1/usage shows the balance will not cover the next send, or a send returns 402 payment_required, tell your human at once with the buy_url, the balance and the price of the next send. Do not keep retrying paid sends at zero credit.
If you cannot reach your human, stop after the order is created and say so plainly instead of polling forever.

## After Hours answering lines
Pay per resolved conversation: USD 0.49 each, prepaid in packs of 50 (USD 24.50) or 200 (USD 98). A message taken or a booking made counts; everything else is free. At zero the line keeps answering in message-only mode and texts the owner once where owner texts are enabled (otherwise email). No balance goes below zero; buy another outcome pack to restore bookings.

Existing outcome lines use POST /v1/lines/{id}/outcome-packs or MCP buy_pack with product line_outcomes and line_id. GET /v1/lines shows outcomes_remaining. Outcome packs are separate from Direct credits and cannot be bought through x402 yet.
